4.4. Making the Connections

Install the PCI-e or PCI-x adapter card into a free compatible slot in the

computer.

Attach the supplied eSATA cable to the Host Adapter and the disk unit as shown

next. It does not matter which port is used, but to be consistent, use Port 1 for

your 1

enclosure, then the 2

and the 3

as you add more enclosures.
